Many people experience increased stress at the end of the year. For some, the coming of the unknown of a new year puts them on edge, for others grief can be heavy during a time when there are a lot of holidays, and then, as students, you all have the extra burden of exams and end-of-term projects. But the Office of Basic Needs and Well-Being is here for you!! We’re doing some events in December to help alleviate some stress AND these events will also be available to staff and faculty (cause exams are stressful for y’all too!)

December 3rd – Holiday Stress Decompression Circle, Room 2-142

Beth will facilitate discussion about ways to manage all the additional responsibilities and decisions that the holidays bring.

Students: 10:30-11:30                Staff & Faculty: 12:00-1:00

December 11th – Paint and Sip Cocoa and Apple Cider, Room 2-300B

Canvas and paints will be provided along with a simple tutorial on painting a winter scene. Hot cocoa and hot apple cider will be available. Come take a break and practice some mindfulness while having fun! No artistic skills required!

Students: 2:00-3:00                  Staff & Faculty: 3:00-4:00

We’re working on one more event so stay tuned for when that is finalized. KEEP ON KEEPIN’ ON!
