Waterfronts, Wolves, and Warm Weather
Ask any former Winter North Shorer, and they’ll tell you about frozen fingers, prematurely dead batteries, and the need to wear six layers of clothing. Not this trip. Eight students, two instructors, and one brave interpreter enjoyed unseasonably warm weather during the 2017 Spring North Shore Workshop.
The group traveled to Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls State Park, and the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minn. They spent two days shooting then prepped their Top 10 images for the Sunday morning group critique.
