The Photons Club is looking for your best designs to have printed on our new 2020-21 Club T-shirts! Break out your graphic design skills and see what you can come up with! The contest is open now through April 7, 2021. The current club members will hold an online vote to determine the winning design.
All paid 2020-21 members of the club will receive a t-shirt as a benefit of membership. Membership to the Photons club is $5/year.
The winning designer will win a $50 Amazon gift card!
Criteria
Designs should be exported in .jpg format before uploading to the contest page. Be as creative as you like; you can utilize the DCTC logo, custom artwork, or use any font you think is appropriate. You can choose the T-shirt color and we’re looking at either one- or two-color printing to save on costs.
Students currently enrolled in at least one course at Dakota County Technical College or Inver Hills Community College during the current academic year are eligible to submit their designs for voting. Students are allowed up to 3 design uploads for this contest. Students in the Graphic Design Program are encouraged to participate; you do NOT need to be a photographer or in the Photography Program to enter.
Recommended Image Settings:
- please upload a .jpg version of your design
- maximum of 1920 pixels in width
- maximum of 1080 pixels in height
- must be under 2 MB
By entering the contest you agree to allow the Dakota County Technical College Photons Photography Club use of your design on apparel created by the club. The winning designer will provide the club’s Faculty Advisor with the full resolution vector or printable file of the design. If you have any questions, please contact Scott Glime.
