The company is seeking a Part-Time Web Developer.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Working with DRPM leadership, clients, and vendors to develop, analyze, and manage websites, online tools and technical SEO. This includes writing business requirements, leading development, and analyzing usage characteristics.
❏ Build responsive, adaptive, mobile-first websites that meet usability and accessibility web standards and best practices
❏ Help maintain client websites and troubleshoot technical issues such as performing routine updates and recommending hosting/server solutions
❏ Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling existing client websites
❏ Provide accurate timelines and level of effort during all project planning phases
❏ Develop back end components for WordPress and other CMS-based websites
❏ Design content types, taxonomies, and other data structures based on wireframes and project requirements
❏ Utilize data to recommend improved functionality, conversion rate, & SEO of client websites/apps
Professional and Educational Requirements:
❏ Proficient with WordPress
❏ Experience in Front and Back End Web Development (i.e. jQuery, AJAX, CSS3, HTML5)
❏ Proficient in implementing Google Analytics ecommerce tracking
❏ Ability to custom code existing WordPress themes to match client’s expectations
❏ Experience working with other CMS and ecommerce platforms such as Drupal, Magento, etc.
❏ Familiarity with third-party systems integrations such as CRM, ERP, fulfillment, and payment gateways
❏ A strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, responsive web design, mobile friendliness, and general web functions, standards, and best practices
❏ Experience with APIs like Google, Bing, Facebook, or other marketing platforms
❏ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related area
❏ 2+ years of work/internship experience using CMS platforms to develop and build websites
❏ Knowledge of PPC advertising and best practices
❏ Experience working with B2B clients
❏ Experience developing custom HTML email campaigns
❏ Experience developing HTML5 banner ads
❏ Understanding of Google Products
❏ Deep understanding and proven record of on-site and off-site SEO, inclusive of link building, content optimization, meta data, etc.
❏ Proficient in coding and implementing Structured Data and Schema
❏ Experience working with SEO tools, such as MOZ, SEMRush, Raven, AHREFS, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, etc.
❏ Experience performing keyword and competitive research
❏ Experience ensuring websites & apps adhere to SEO best practices
Location: Burnsville, Minnesota office with remote flexibility to accommodate Covid circumstances
