Marketing and Project Manager
Full Time Position
Spoken Impact has been in business since the year 2000.  Since that time we have worked with over 500 companies in the Twin Cities and trained more than two thousand business professionals and executives to become better speakers and presenters.  We have a new initiative and need to expand our team.  If you are a self-starter who enjoys a flexible job with lots of variety this may be of interest to you.Here are some things that may be helpful to know. Our mission is to help our clients create better presentations and be more effective and engaging presenters.  If you have a passion for this subject and have experience in this area all the more ideal (Attended Toastmasters, delivered business presentations, majored in Communications or created/trained on presentations).  Hopefully, you will have worked for a small business previously and be comfortable with an unstructured, “jack-of-all-trades” atmosphere.  Much of what you would do at Spoken Impact has yet to be defined.  This position will require a lot of interaction with our clients and marketplace – so we are looking for a people person.  This new initiative will require you to be available as early as 7AM one or more mornings a week.  Lastly, we have a small office in St. Louis Park, but you will also need a home office.  We do cover all basic expenses associated with having the home office.  Proximity to St. Louis Park is a plus.
General Responsibilities include:
Manage our New Initiative:  Speaking Groups

  1. Help Refine and Implement Speaking Groups
  2. Handle Social Media for Groups
  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • Twitter

3. Manage the Speaking Group program

  • Conduct the onboarding interviews with participants
  • Conduct the off-boarding interviews with exiting participants
  • Attend all Speaking Groups as company liaison – NOTE must be available by 7AM most mornings
  • Handle all videotaping
  • Manage the quarterly schedule for each group
  • Assist with developing educational program for each session

Coordinate Company Marketing

  • Write weekly or bi-weekly blog based on Spoken Impact content
  • Assist with SpeechGRAM – bi-weekly client e-mail
  • Develop and test Landing Pages and Google Ads
  • Manage promotional E-mail
  • Manage Social Media needs/requirements
  • Follow-up with customers and workshop participants after engagements for future opportunities
  • Be available to assist with videotaping for training programs
  • Attend Industry events as company representative
  • Get involved in one or more local associations as company representative

Preferred but not required:  Training

  • Assist in training as a co-trainer

Preferred but not required:  Sales

  • Expand your role to include commission sales
