College Center is one of several modules in the LearningExpress Library database, described in a previous blog post.

This module is designed for college students who want to improve their math, reading, writing, grammar, and science skills. The Math Skills Review covers algebra, basic math, calculus, geometry and measurement, trigonometry, statistics, logic and reasoning, and quantitative comparison and word problems. The Reading Skills Review covers reading comprehension, vocabulary, and spelling. The Grammar and Writing Skills Review also covers public speaking and the Science Skills Review covers chemistry and biology. You can study these subjects with tutorials, practice sets, and ebooks like Practical Math Success in 20 Minutes a Day and 501 Critical Reading Questions.

College Center also includes lots of practice tests to help you prepare for the ACCUPLACER. And there are practice tests and ebooks to help with graduate school admissions exams including the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MAT, MCAT, and PCAT.

Don’t forget you’ll need a personal account in order to use LearningExpress Library. It’s free for DCTC students; just click on the blue Register button near the lower right corner of the home page.
