DCTC students and employees can access dozens of databases through the DCTC Library web site. State tax dollars pay for many of these databases, which are collectively known as ELM, the Electronic Library for Minnesota. ELM is one of several MINITEX Library Information Network programs.

Keeping Current with ProQuest Newsstand Complete: Using the Smart Search Feature
ProQuest Newsstand Complete offers access to over 350 newspapers (250 with full-text) which includes local, regional, state, national, and international new sources. This webinar will take a closer look at one of its searching features, Topics – powered by Smart Search. Join MINITEX Reference Services staff to discover how the Smart Search feature compares search terms to index terms and suggests topics, suggests options for narrowing search, and creates a “bread crumb trail.”

EBSCO MasterFILE Premier – Basics
