“Greenwashing” – or green sheen – is a term that was coined in the mid-1980’s to describe a product that is overly promoted to be “green”, when in fact the product may not have a positive impact on the environment. Greenwashing is still common in our marketplace today. So be “in the know” and continue to be true to your commitment to be sustainable.
