Healthy Knight 5K and 1 Mile Run 2023

Ideal weather welcomes runners and walkers to 14th annual staging of event

Dakota County Technical College hosted the 14th Annual Healthy Knight 5K and 1 Mile Run Thursday afternoon, September 28, 2023, on the college’s campus in Rosemount, Minnesota. Proceeds will go to support student scholarships at DCTC.

Jeremy Wanguha, 20, of Bloomington, Minnesota, took first place in the 5K run with a time of 21:10; Ronnell Porter, 22, of St. Paul, Minnesota, took second place with a time of 22:16; Jordy Prado of Apple Valley, Minnesota, took third with a time of 22:25.

Jake Gruebele, 19, of Eagan, Minnesota, took first place in the 1 mile run with a time of 8:10; Carter Carlson, 19, of West Fargo, North Dakota, took second place with a time of 8:10; LJ Manning, 18, of Balsam Lake, Minnesota, took third with a time of 8:17.
