The Multicultural Student Leadership Association (MSLA) and the Diversity Council at Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) are hosting Let’s Work on Our Global Citizenship 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017, in Room 1-630 on the college’s main campus in Rosemount, Minnesota.

“Global citizenship starts here when we create a community of learners who are unafraid to share their unique cultural backgrounds,” said Harold Torrence, business management faculty and Diversity Council chair. “Global citizenship starts here when we build meaningful relationships to help each other grow and embrace our human potential. By working together, we can do more to instill our local and global communities with authenticity and intentionality.”

A panel of students, faculty and staff members will share their experiences and perspectives of how we can enhance our cultural fluency to become competent professionals in today’s global economy. All DCTC students, staff, faculty and alumni are welcome to attend.
