Blue Knights sweep doubleheader vs Hamline JV
The varsity baseball team at Dakota County Technical College rolled off the college’s main campus in Rosemount, Minnesota, at 3:30 in the morning Tuesday, March 7, 2017, to make a 5:30 a.m game versus the Hamline University JV at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The Blue Knights took the first game of the doubleheader 7–4 and went on to win the second game 14–1.
DCTC baseball competes at the NJCAA Division II level. The team is 4–1 on the season as of March 9 with a four game win streak.

“We are heading to Orlando, Florida, on a road trip that has us playing a doubleheader against Mott Community College on March 14,” said Head Coach Matthew Erzar. “The games will be on Field #24 at Disney Wide World of Sports.”
Coach Erzar added that while in Florida DCTC will also be playing doubleheaders against Niagara County Community College, Prairie State College, Community College of Rhode Island and Northern Essex Community College.
The next home event at Ames Field on the Rosemount campus will be a doubleheader Saturday, March 25, 2017, against the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Golden Rams. The first game is scheduled for 1 p.m., the second for 3 p.m.
