Blue Knights Athletics will host second annual golf outing Sept. 17 at Bellwood Oaks
Blue Knights Athletics will host a golf outing and fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 17 at Bellwood Oaks Golf Course, 13239 210th Street East in Hastings.
The event will raise money for the Dakota County Technical College athletic department. Organizer Tom Cross said the event will support the general needs of each athletic team.
“It’s a great event and we strong encourage all faculty, staff and students to participate,” said Cross.
In its second year, the golf outing will be held at the beautiful Bellwood Oaks Golf Club, an 18 hole, par 73 course. Lunch and range will be available from noon to 1 p.m., with a shot gun start at 1 p.m.
The first, second and third place teams will receive prizes. Additionally, prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive, longest putt and more.
The cost is $75 per person, which includes golf, cart, range, lunch and dinner. Additional features of the event include a social hour, silent auction and raffle. It’s $200 to sponsor a hole. Or $500 for four golfers and a sponsorship.
