The NJCAA recognized 11 Blue Knights for achieving high academic standards
Eleven Dakota County Technical College athletes received academic awards from the National Junior College Athletic Association.
The NJCAA awards student-athletes for academic excellence in three categories. The Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence recognizes students with a 4.0 Grade Point Average (GPA). The Superior Academic Achievement Award salutes students who accomplish a 3.80 – 3.99 GPA. Lastly, the Exemplary Academic Achievement Award commends students who achieve 3.60 – 3.79 GPA.
Blue Knight soccer player David Fox received the sole Pinnacle award from DCTC. A sophomore, Fox plays fullback.
Four DCTC athletes received the Superior Award including David Robins (baseball), Ellie Schneider (volleyball, softball), Jake Graff (baseball) and Parker Hanson (baseball.)
Six received the Exemplary Award including Brandon Dorshak (baseball), Evan Rogers (baseball), Jordan Wilkerson (baseball), Jordyn Breitbarth (soccer, softball), Mehmet Ongel (basketball) and Noble Fahnbulleh (basketball).
