DCTC and RAAC hosting tile-signing event for mosaic in Robert Trail Library
The Project Management I class at Dakota County Technical College, in conjunction with the Rosemount Area Arts Council, invites everyone to be part of an exciting civic engagement project. On Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, DCTC and RAAC will be having a FREE tile signing from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the central commons in front of the Student Life Center on the college’s main campus in Rosemount, Minnesota.
The One Tile One Rosemount project involves personalizing more than 9,000 1-inch by 1-inch wooden tiles. We ask that you sign, initial or mark one of these tiles with a personal design. Once all the tiles are completed, the 8-foot by 8-foot mosaic picture (see above image) will be assembled and hung in the Robert Trail Library in Rosemount.

Each tile is numbered and will be in a database, so any time you want to visit the library you can easily find your own personalized tile. We are looking to get as many people involved in this project as possible. The signing is open to the public so invite friends and family. If they cannot join us, you can create a tile for them.
We will also need volunteers to help out, so we are reaching out to all the clubs and organizations on campus to ask for help in making this project a huge success.
