Blue Knights play a tight game against Kirkwood Community College

Pepsi sponsored the DCTC Men’s Basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Salvation Army Community Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Pepsi provided free giveaways for all fans in attendance and prizes for DCTC students at halftime. Winners of the halftime shoe scramble game received $20 gas cards and winning tickets were called for a Gatorade Cooler and cash prizes of $50, $100 and a grand prize of $200.

The Blue Knights lost 46–44 against Kirkwood Community College Eagles. Chris McMorris, a sophomore wing from Osseo, Minn., led the team with 15 points and sophomore post, Clinton Parker, from Minneapolis, Minn., put 11 points on the board. The Blue Knights’ overall record is 15–10.

The men’s basketball team will travel to Wahpeton, N.D., on Feb. 14 to play North Dakota State College of Sciences. The Blue Knights then head home to play against Gogebic Community College on Feb. 16 at the Salvation Army Community Center.
