Seasonal event brings friends, folly and ugly sweaters to campus
On Dec. 19, 2012, Dakota County Technical College hosted a Holiday Celebration in the Library Atrium on the college’s main campus in Rosemount, Minn. Approximately 200 people attended the event, including faculty, staff, retirees, legislators, business leaders and members of the DCTC Foundation.
Las Tortillas Mexican Restaurant of Rosemount provided excellent food for the celebration. The Rosemount High School Quintet filled the atrium with songs of the holiday season.
An ugly sweater contest kicked off the afternoon and drawings were held every half hour. Congratulations to Scott Determan for winning the contest and to Darlene Lehmann, Natalie Tente, Mike Buck, and Edward Norton Jr., who won the prizes.
A special thanks to the Institutional Advancement team for hosting such a wonderful event.
