Mike Triviski puts down his tools after 44 years
Mike Triviski (center) with GM ASEP studentsMike Triviski, longtime mentor of students in DCTC’s GM Automotive Service Education Program (ASEP), retired after 44 years in the automotive industry. He has mentored more ASEP students than any other mentor in DCTC’s history.
“Mike [Triviski] was a wonderful mentor and a great technician for our students to model,” said Mark Hickman, a GM ASEP instructor.
Students in ASEP spend six to eight weeks learning about specific components with their mentor by their side the entire way. Triviski taught his students real world skills that many of them still use today.
Hickman said, “Mike’s students learned so much from him, and they sincerely enjoyed his influence.”
DCTC wishes Mr. Triviski well as he begins the next chapter of his life.
