Vincent Frank: Proud owner of the Blue Knights Snap-on tool chest

Congratulations to Vincent Frank, 28, of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., a student in the Concrete and Masonry program at Dakota County Technical College. He is the winner of the Blue Knights Snap-on tool chest.

Snap-on donated the $5,500 tool chest to the DCTC Foundation as a raffle prize for its premiere fundraising event in April 2012, the True Blue Gala. Larry Severson, vice chair of the DCTC Foundation Board, initially won the tool chest and donated the prize back to the college, hoping it would go to a student.

On May 8, 2012, Frank’s name was randomly plucked out of more than 100 potential winners. He wishes to personally thank Severson for his generosity. “It’s incredible to know that there are people out there who support the college,” said Frank. “I’m glad to have something from DCTC that will last me throughout my life.”

Frank is set to earn his diploma this spring semester and someday hopes to have enough tools to fill his new tool chest.
