Help us in honoring our local soldiers this holiday season
Did you know there are more than 3,000 National Guard soldiers from Minnesota deployed overseas? This holiday season will certainly be different for those soldiers than it will be for you and me. As a way of showing our gratitude for the service these young men and women provide, the DCTC community is collecting donated items to send some holiday joy their way. Care packages will be assembled and delivered to soldiers of the Red Bulls 34th Infantry Division, based out of Rosemount, Minn.
It is our hope that you will consider supporting this cause by donating items for the care packages. Below is a list of items needed:
- Magazines (People, Sports Illustrated, Better Homes and Garden, etc.)
- Games (Uno, playing cards, dominoes, cribbage boards, etc.)
- Non-perishable food items (candy, snacks, fruit drink mixes, etc.)
Donations can be dropped off at DCTC’s Student Life Center now through December 7.
