Professionals give feedback on how to update your resume
DCTC Campus Lions Club Resume Workshop
On Friday, Oct. 28, the DCTC Campus Lions Club hosted a Resume Workshop on the Rosemount campus. This workshop was for Lions who already have a resume, but would like some professional feedback on how it can be updated. Five professionals were at the event, including a CEO, an executive director, employees from Career Services and a writing expert. During the session, they gave information on how to research companies using subscription–based resources in the DCTC Library, improving your resume and sharpening your interview skills.
“We were very pleased with the turnout,” said Brett Kolles, Business English instructor and DCTC Campus Lions Club advisor. “We are planning on hosting this event again in spring 2012.”
