Three students find errant golf balls to win $250 scholarships

On Tuesday, Sept. 13, the DCTC Foundation hosted “Scholarship in a Haystack” on the college’s Rosemount campus. Close to 20 students participated, diving into a pile of scrambled chaff, stems and husks in search of three hidden golf balls, each worth $250 in scholarship funds. Three students possessed the agrarian wits to ferret out the winning objects:
