Instructors Tim McCluskey and Mark Hickman celebrate with Class of 2011
Tim McCluskey and Mark Hickman, instructors in GM ASEP at Dakota County Technical College, celebrated with 11 graduates along with their family and friends at the GM ASEP Graduating Class of 2011 Recognition Dinner. The event was held May 26, 2011, in the Dakota Room on the college’s main campus in Rosemount, Minn.
GM ASEP trains technicians for work on GM’s computer-oriented, future-paced product line, giving them the skills needed to work at General Motors dealerships or ACDelco Total Service Support shops. ASEP stands for Automotive Service Educational Program.
DCTC President Ronald E. Thomas, Ph.D., gave the welcoming address and congratulated the graduates as they received their recognition awards onstage. Aaron Ellefson, service manager at Walser Buick GMC in Roseville, Minn., and a program alumnus, served as the guest speaker. Officials from General Motors Corporation also attended. Graduates earned an 82-credit Automotive Service A.A.S. degree.
