Spring 2011 Portfolio Show Draws Great Crowd

Five VCOM students recognized for top-notch work

The Visual Communications department at Dakota County Technical College presented the Spring 2011 Portfolio Show Wednesday, May 4, in the Library Atrium on the college’s Rosemount, Minn., campus. Students from the Applied Visual Arts, Electronic Publishing, Graphic Design Technology, Multimedia and Web Design, Photographic Imaging Technology, and Photography programs showcased their work to a standing-room-only crowd of visitors.

During the show, visitors voted for their favorites in five categories, including “Best All Around Student.” Students with the winning portfolios were honored at the conclusion of the show.
