HLC evaluator-consultant team gives highest recommendation possible

Dakota County Technical College learned Wednesday, April 20, 2011, that a team of four HLC consultant-evaluators recommended DCTC for 10-year re-accreditation without conditions. This is the highest recommendation the college can receive. DCTC will receive official notice of the college’s 10-year unconditional re-accreditation in nine to 10 weeks from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

“I wish to thank and congratulate everyone who worked on the Self-Study and helped prepare our campus for the HLC visit,” said DCTC President Ronald E. Thomas. “This was tremendous team effort. I could not be more proud to be president of a college strengthened by such a wonderful group of dedicated individuals.”
