Being able to make a strong claim at the start of the paper and tie up the claim neatly at the end are essential to any good paper. Presented by the Writing Center, the College Paper Writing Seminar will focus not only on how to make a good argument, but also on how to set up a claim for the other kinds of papers students will write while attending school.
If any faculty or staff member would like to cover a specific aspect of a thesis and conclusion related to a particular class assignment, please notify the Writing Center.
