Four Blue Knights Honored by MCAC

Randy Briesacher named MCAC Southern Division Coach of the Year

Four DCTC Blue Knights baseball players were recognized by the Minnesota Colleges Athletic Conference: Joe Lucas, Sean Toomey, Derek Bergstrom and Jon Dabney. Head Coach Randy Briesacher was named MCAC Southern Division Coach of the Year for the second year running.

Bryce Rippentrop Signs with Alexandria Beetles

Bryce Rippentrop

Bryce Rippentrop, the #2 pitcher on the Blue Knights staff,  signed to play for the Alexandria Beetles in the North Division of the Northwoods League this summer.

A freshman right-handed pitcher from Buffalo Lake Hector High School in Hector, Minn., Rippentrop was 6–3 on the year with a 4.24 ERA and 53 strikeouts. He batted .407 with two homers and 23 RBIs.
