Visual Communications students from the Design department pulled out all the stops at the 2010 Spring Portfolio Show May 5, 2010, in the Library Atrium on the Rosemount, Minn., campus of Dakota County Technical College. Graduating students from the Graphic Design Technology, Multimedia and Web Design, Applied Visual Arts, Photography, and Photographic Imaging Technology programs brought out their top work to show off for fellow students and family members as well as for college staff and faculty.

Connie Larson, a graphic design technology instructor, was delighted with not only the quality of the student work, but also the turnout of visitors that came to see the superb photography, websites, multimedia materials, artwork and graphic design on display. “Every year, we have a number of portfolios that are truly outstanding,” Larson said. “This is a great chance for our students to get their work assembled and shown in a professional manner.”
