DCTC hosting annual children’s event for first time
The Rosemount Lions Club Spring Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, March 27, at 10 a.m. at the Ames Soccer Complex located on the DCTC Rosemount campus.
The city of Rosemount Web site reports that children will be divided into age groups, which will hunt for a slew of treats for filling their baskets. Adults must accompany children. Participants are requested to bring a basket or bag to hold found treats. Cameras are also recommended to capture shots of a visiting bunny.
Participants are encouraged to bring donations such as nonperishable food, paper products, toiletries and infant items for the local 360 Communities (formerly known as the Community Action Council) and Family Resource Center.
The site goes on to say, “In case of inclement weather, the Spring Egg Hunt will be held the following Saturday, April 3. To confirm a possible change, call the information line at 952-985-1780 and select #6 for event cancellations and event make up information.
