As a fundraising effort designed to help reach the magic $400,000 mark that will guarantee an $800,000 Endowment for Employment for student emergencies, the DCTC Student Senate is selling $20 Click Club USA membership cards.

“The Click Club card offers incredible savings for only $20,” said Mercedes Akinseye, a student due to graduate spring 2011 from the DCTC Supervisory Leadership program. Mercedes also plays on the college’s fastpitch softball team. “What’s really nice is that you can use the card repeatedly for an entire year from the first day you activate it. You can make up your $20 investment fast with buy one get one free offers for meals at restaurants and tickets at movie theaters. Just enter your ZIP code on the Click Club USA Web site to find the best deals closest to your home.”
