Fill out The Community College Student Report and help us enhance your learning experience
Dear DCTC Students:
Your voice is vitally important as we seek to improve opportunities for student learning. One way for us to hear from you is through The Community College Student Report, the survey instrument of the Center for Community College Student Engagement, or CCCSE, formerly known as the Community College Survey of Student Engagement, or CCSSE.
Beginning in two weeks, students in randomly selected classes at DCTC along with roughly 300 other community and technical colleges from across the nation will have the chance to share their views by completing this survey. Questions will focus on the following:
- How students spend their time
- Nature and quality of student interactions with faculty and peers
- What students have gained from their classes and other aspects of their collegiate experience
If you are in a class that is selected to participate in the survey, I encourage you to respond candidly to the questions. Your individual responses will remain confidential, but the results of this national survey will play a crucial role in helping DCTC staff and faculty examine our educational practices and identify ways that we can enhance our programs and services to better serve you—our students.
We appreciate your willingness to help us learn from your experiences at DCTC.
Thank you,
Ronald E. Thomas, Ph.D.
DCTC President
