Trading car service for military service with free vehicle safety inspection clinic
The Transportation department at Dakota County Technical College in partnership with DCTC Student Life is hosting a FREE, one-day vehicle safety inspection clinic to assist active-duty military personnel and their families. The FREE clinic will include a 30-point safety inspection among other maintenance needs such as replacing lights, diagnosing service engines codes and topping off fluids.
One hundred and thirty students in various transportation programs and nine instructors from the Automotive Technician, Auto Body Collision Technology and GM ASEP programs will be volunteering their time and talents to say thanks to our troops and their families for their military service. The DCTC Transportation department expects to serve more than 100 eligible military personnel during the one-day clinic.
DCTC wishes to thank all area companies sponsoring the clinic. Coffee, juice and donuts will be served and door prizes will be given out while military personnel wait during the inspections.
