Men’s Soccer Evens Record with Scott Community College

Blue Knights defeat Eagles 2-0 to win three in a row

On Tuesday, Sept. 30, DCTC won on the road by beating Scott Community College in Bettendorf, Iowa, splitting the season series 1-1. Earlier this year, SCC snuck by the Blue Knights 1-2 at home in Burnsville, Minn.

Freshman Bob Wandey (Minneapolis South) stood out in the game, scoring DCTC’s two goals. The win gives men’s soccer a 3-5 league record with a 4-6-1 record overall. The Knights have nine games left in the season; six are league play.

Head Coach Cam Stoltz said, “We will continue to gel while learning how to win tight games that earlier in the year proved too difficult. The college season is long enough for us to develop into a solid playoff team. All our focus is on staying competitive and getting ready for a regional playoff run.”
