Blue Knights roll over IHCC and SCC
The Lady Knights shut down the Indian Hills Community College Warriors 5-0 Thursday, Sept. 25, at home. The following Tuesday, Sept. 30, they outgunned the Scott Community College Eagles 6-2, also at home. The Knights kicked the first six goals of the game.
The Eagles scored two late goals even as DCTC freshman goalkeeper Kassie Young (Lakeville South) stopped a penalty kick. The Knights swept the season series, having blanked the Eagles 5-0 earlier this season.
DCTC is now 3-2 in conference play and 5-6 overall. The Knights will try to even up their overall record when they host Anoka Ramsey Community College Saturday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. All home games are played at Rose Park in Burnsville, Minn.
