Women’s Soccer Concludes Regular Season With Victory

The Blue Knights women’s soccer team concluded their regular season with a convincing 6-0 win over Indian Hills Community College on Friday, Oct. 19.

The win improved their conference record to 3-5 on the season and helped them finish third in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference standings.

Right from the beginning Dakota County Technical College took it to Indian Hills as Keely Anderson (Soph., River Falls, Wis.) scored in the first minute of the game when her cross went into the net off of the pipe.

Freshman Naomi Stumpf (Eagan, Minn.) scored her first collegiate goal in the victory.

Sophomore goalie Jessica Johnson (Elgin, Minn.) earned the shutout for the Blue Knights.

With the victory, DCTC finish the season with an 8-11 overall record.
