Men’s Soccer Tops Indian Hills

The Dakota County Technical College men’s soccer team finished its regular season on a high note with a hard fought 5-4 victory over Indian Hills Community College on Friday, Oct. 19.

Caleb Addo (Fr., Bronx, N.Y.) and Akey Jumale (Soph., Marshall, Minn.) each scored two goals in the victory.

With the win, DCTC finishes the season with an 11-9 overall record and a 6-8 conference record – which places them in fifth place.

The Blue Knights now travel to Bettendorf, Iowa to face the No. 4 seed Scott Community College in the quarterfinals of the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference playoffs on, Tuesday, Oct. 23.

The two teams meet twice during the season with Scott Community College sweeping the series with a 1-0 victory early in the season and a 5-3 win in early October.

If the Blue Knights defeat Scott Community College, they advance to the Regional Final Four in Fort Doge, Iowa on Saturday, Oct. 27.
