The Dakota County Technical College men’s soccer team lost 4-0 to second place North Iowa Area Community College on Wednesday, Oct. 17 in Mason City, Iowa.
The loss hurts the Blue Knights chances of playing at home in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference’s playoffs that begin Tuesday, Oct. 23.
DCTC still has a chance to earn the home field advantage by defeating Indian Hills Community College on Friday, Oct. 19 and having Iowa Central Community College and Scott Community College lose there final game.
Blue Knights head coach Cam Stolz said that he anticipates to play a regional quarterfinal at Iowa Central or Scott Community College when the playoffs begin.
The DCTC men currently have a 10-9 record.
