The Blue Knights men’s soccer team made history on Saturday, Oct. 6 as they defeated Iowa Western Community College for the first time in school history.
Dakota County Technical College shut out their conference rival 2-0 to improve their record to 8-7 on the season.
“Pretty big win. We have never defeated Iowa Western in the history of the program,” assistant coach Nicole Meulemans said. “Iowa Western is a top conference rival.”
Alex Johnson and Matthew Nyuah scored for the Blue Knights. Geoffrey Kalanzi got the shutout in goal for DCTC.
