Dakota County Technical College hosted a group of educators from Thailand Tuesday, Sept. 11.
Five members of Thailand’s Office of Vocational Education Commission visited with administrators and representatives from the college to discuss higher education.
During a breakfast meeting, Vice President Ron Erickson gave a presentation on DCTC, followed by presentations from the dean’s on customized training and technology, general education, student services, transportation, and industry.
After the presentations, Admissions Director Patrick Lair gave a campus tour.
The visit was part of a three-day trip for the Thailand delegation to Minnesota. As part of the trip, the delegation met with groups from South Central College, Saint Paul College, Dakota County Technical College, and Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System Office of the Chancellor.
The group also toured the Twin Cities area, with stops at the Mall of America and Far Gaze Farm in Northfield.
