With a tentative schedule set, the Blue Knights baseball team is looking forward to the 2007 season, where they hope to build on the fourth place finish they earned in the Minnesota Community Conference State Tournament and Regional bid in 2006.
Things kick off March 8-18 in Pensacola, Fla., where the Blue Knights will play 12 games against some quality competition.
The weekend of March 24-25, the Blue Knights will travel to Waterloo, Iowa to play four games, and then face a difficult test in the Metrodome against Iowa Central March 28. Iowa Central is a D-II junior college whose baseball teams played in the College World Series six of the last seven years.
April 14, DCTC will face another D-II team, North Central Missouri, on the Blue Knight home field at Alimagnet Park in Burnsville. The regular season ends with a visit from conference power Ridgewater on April 29.
