DCTC Adds New Coaches for Athletic Programs

The Dakota County Technical College Blue Knights athletic program proudly announces three additions to the current coaching staff: Head Wrestling Coach Curt Foley; Associate Head Coach for men’s and women’s soccer Hisham El-Adawe; and Head Softball Coach Eric Heflin.

Wrestling – Curt Foley

Coach Foley comes to DCTC after serving as an assistant coach and head recruiting coordinator at Minnesota State University – Moorhead. Prior to his stint with the Dragons, he was the assistant coach at Bismarck State College. As an athlete, Foley wrestled for the NCAA National Championship team at North Dakota State University.

Soccer – Hisham El-Adawe

Coach El-Adawe joins DCTC Head Soccer Coach Cam Stoltz for the 2005 season. El-Adawe’s most-recent coaching experience comes from Chaska High School where he served as the head girls’ soccer coach for two years, and assistant coach for three years. El-Adawe currently works with the Eden Prairie soccer club as a premier level girls’ coach and the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association as an Olympic development coach.

Softball – Eric Heflin

Coach Heflin is a Rosemount local and joins the Blue Knights after coaching for Rosemount High School (softball and football programs). Heflin also is heavily involved with the Minnesota Irish select softball team. He will now launch the brand new Blue Knights program, and develop its roster and future coaching staff.

Softball is new to the Blue Knights’ athletic offerings. The fifth sport offered at DCTC, softball joins men’s and women’s soccer, baseball and wrestling.
