Minnesota Valley Transit names three bus drivers of the Year

The Minnesota Valley Transit Authority named three bus drivers its 2004 Drivers of the Year at a recognition dinner in February. Those awarded included Vicki Cady of Laidlaw Transit Services, a graduate of Dakota County Technical College’s Truck Driver training program. Before working as a bus driver, Cady owned and operated a semi-trailer truck, traveling nationwide for six years. “Vicki is a team player,” Laidlaw project manager Tom Knier said. “In addition to her driving responsibilities, she helps train new drivers as a behind-the-wheel trainer, and she is capable at filling in as a substitute dispatcher.”
