I just realized that I didn’t post an update about SkillsUSA Nationals! I posted (many) updates and pics via the SkillsUSA Facebook page, but none here. I apologize!

Joy went down to represent herself, DCTC, and our Early Childhood program. She really didn’t know what to expect as this was her first Skills Nationals experience. She put on a brave face, was a fierce competitor, and managed to do it all with a smile. I was super impressed! Although she had hoped to get a medal on stage (who doesn’t?), she placed 5th which is still a huge accomplishment. I’ve included a few pictures from our trip below. Way to go Joy…we’re super proud of you!!
