My colleague recently shared an article with me from ExchangeEveryDay that is such an important topic. Working with families and children is a service profession and generally child care providers are others-centered. Therefore, it is critical that they rest and replenish regularly themselves. It reminds me of the old adage that you can’t give what you don’t have. We need to be balanced emotionally, healthy and well-rested physically, etc. in order to care for children and provide them with a fun and stimulating environment. This article talks about building and nurturing resilience. Wondering how to achieve that? Click HERE to find out!
