I’m honored to introduce July’s guest speaker of the month – Jolene Pearson. Jolene and I recently met at an early childhood meeting and I’m thrilled that she agreed to speak about infant and toddler development.
Jolene is an Associate Professor at Bethel University – Director of Early Childhood Services and a member of the field faculty at the Center for Early Education and Development at the University of Minnesota.
Jolene earned her BS from the University of MN and a MS from Wheelock College in Boston MA. She holds MN licenses in early childhood special education, parent education and early childhood. Jolene is a doctoral candidate at the University of Minnesota. She is certified in the Brazelton Neonatal Assessment Scale and is a clinical infant health mentor IMH-E® (IV) . Jolene’s professionals interests include early childhood education, parent education, and infant mental health.
