visitation logoVisitation School is currently seeking an infant teacher, infant assistant teacher, and toddler assistant teacher. Visitation School is an independent Catholic day school serving co-ed children 6
weeks through Grade 6, and all girls in Grades 7 through 12. The Visitation Child Care Center is a licensed, NAEYC accredited year round program. The Child Care Center serves approximately 45 children a day.

The qualified candidate should:
Be willing to embrace the Visitation School mission.
Be available Monday through Friday (shift times will vary and can be somewhat flexible).
For a Teacher position an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or a related field is required.
For a Teacher Aide position some training in the field of child development is preferred. For both positions a minimum of 2 years experience is ideal.
Familiarity with Minnesota Department of Human Services Program Rule 3.
Familiarity with National Association for the Education of Young Children standards and guidelines.
Familiarity with Developmentally Appropriate Activities.
Familiarity of classroom and playground equipment and related safety practices.
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) Training preferred.
CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
