From MnAEYC-MnSACA – The Senate passed legislation reauthorizing the Child Care and Development Grant (CCDBG). The bill makes a range of updates to the federal child care program, which hasn’t been reauthorized since 1996.

This is a huge win for working families and providers. The bill will improve health and safety standards of child care facilities, make it easier for families to get and continue to receive help paying for child care, and better support providers serving families receiving child care assistance.
