I want to share this fun game that I came across recently. Not only is it super cute (and simple), but there are many benefits to playing it. As stated on the Pre-KPages website, “As children pick up the beads and place them on the pipe cleaners, they are developing fine motor skills as well as hand-eye coordination. As they match the number of beads to the dots represented on the die, they are practicing one-to-one correspondence skills.” Click the picture below to access the entire game (including directions and FREE PRINTABLE)!
Did you know that you can easily create your own playing die as well? The one shown in the picture above is store-bought; however, using a milk or juice carton will suffice for a nice homemade die. Use a small milk carton (school size) for a smaller die and a standard juice carton for a larger die. Click Here and scroll to the very bottom for picture directions.
