Rough and tumble play. Energy. Aggression. Intensity. These words are often associated with boys. This month’s speaker, Joshua Koepp, is passionate about how young boys grow and learn, as well as helping providers to care for them.
Mr. Koepp is currently a certified trainer for Minnesota School Age Care Association (MnSACA), an adjunct professor at Concordia University, an Eager to Learn instructor through Child Care Aware, an inclusion consultant for the Center for Inclusive Childcare, faculty at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, an accreditation consultant for Minnesota Association for the Education of Young Children, and is owner, coach, and trainer of Fiddlehouse LLC. What an impressive list! It’s also important to mention that he is also a father to two wonderful young boys.
In this special message, Joshua discusses a bit of brain science and how to teach boys to manage their behavior in a boy-friendly way. He’ll also share information about using the C.A.P. approach. Finally, he’ll share tips about encouraging boys to be heroes. You won’t want to miss this impactful message! TUNE IN HERE.
