All are welcome to the FREE second annual MPS Farm to School Community BBQ!  September is Minnesota Farm to School Month, so let’s celebrate! Join on September 26, 2013 from 5:00-7:30 PM at the Culinary Center for an afternoon of local food and fun. The event will include a meal featuring great local food; hands-on activities like face painting, taste tests, and compost demonstrations; and a showcase of local urban and rural farmers.  There will even be live farm animals. Additionally, a number of local organizations will provide resources to connect families with local food, healthy eating tips, and gardening resources. Don’t miss the VIP Corn-Shucking Contest at 6:00 PM!
