It’s back to school because it’s September! Ever since I was a child, I’ve enjoyed going back to school. Even now as a teacher the same is true. The excitement and enthusiasm for learning is wonderful. It’s a new school year and a fresh start. As educators and providers, we have the opportunity to support children and students through their educational journey. We take part in building their foundation of learning and enhancing their self-esteem. We have an IMPORTANT role and I take pride in that, as do many other educators, teachers, providers, etc.
A few holiday insights for September: Labor Day, Grandparents Day, Patriot Day, and Native American Day. Did you know that today, Sept. 8th is International Literacy Day? Click on the link to learn more. I found it comical that Sept. 5th is Be Late for Something Day and Sept. 6th Fight Procrastination Day!
